Creating Your Website with Working Solo

With all the interest in the Internet, everyone and their grandmother has a site available for viewing. Well maybe everyone but you? Perhaps you have considered creating a site, but found the task too daunting. By using the following tips, your personal site will be up and running in no time at all.Check out our Resources pages for more options on Website Creation

1. Choose a subject for your site, maybe your hobby, interests, family or whatever you want to base your site on.

2.Create a domain name, this is what your website is called ( as in WorkingSolo.co.uk),just type in your desired domain name in the box above, use the drop down menu to select the suffix, i.e. .com, .co.uk., .biz., etc. to see if it's available.

3. Select a server, there are many out there, but for ease of use and an excellent support structure at very good pricing, we recommend 1&1 hosting.click here

4. Choose a design programme. We recommend XsitePro2, its a complete way to Internet Marketing, and although many servers ( such as 1&1) have site building programmes built in, they will limit you to utilizing a lot of the revenue raising avenues available. However, if you're starting out and just want to get your feet wet, they're a very good place to start, gain confidence, and then move on when you're ready.

5. Consider the layout of your site, make it friendly to use. There are many videos and articles available to help you.

6. Register for Google adsense and make sure your site is Adsense ready.

7. Upload your site to your server. Sounds difficult, but if you're using programmes like Xsite Pro2, its made very easy for you.
